Sautéed Mushrooms with Green Capsicums

Ingredients:

  • 1 red onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 250g Majestic Mushrooms white button
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp oregano
  • 1 Tbsp thyme
  • 1/2 Tbsp red chili flakes
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Pinch of salt
  • Evergreen Fresh Coriander leaves, for garnish

Instructions:

In a pan, heat the oil & sauté the onions until brown in color.

Add in the chopped garlic & spices.

Chop the mushrooms into desired sizes – bigger for a more chewy texture.

Slice the bell pepper and add to the pan – cook for about 3-4 minutes stirring frequently.

Add water (if needed). Once softened, add in the mushrooms. They will release plenty for water; cook until most of the water has evaporated.

Garnish & serve the mushrooms as an appetizer, snack or accompaniment.
