Mushroom Pastry

1 pack of Majestic Mushrooms – Cremini
1/2 cup leeks

1/2 tbsp vegan butter or normal butter

Salt and pepper to taste

 

Evergreen Fresh’s Thyme

 

200g all purpose flour

 

50g cold salted butter

 

2 tbsp of cold water

Method

 

 

Sauté mushrooms and Leeks in butter

 

Add salt, pepper and thyme

 

Let it cool down

 

For the dough; combine flour with cold salted butter and cold water to a crumble consistency and let it cool in the fridge for 15 mins before using.

 

Roll out the dough and fill the mushrooms filling and make pleats with the dough as shown in the photo.

 

Bake for 20 mins on a 180 degree Celsius.
